INTRODUCTION OF CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY

The University of Cambridge is a studious public research university located in Cambridge, England. It was founded  in 1209 and  is the 2nd oldest university in the English speaking world and the world's 4th oldest surviving university.The university formed out of an association of scholars who had left the University of Oxford because of  a dispute with the townspeople. These two ancient universities share many similar features and are often referred to as "Ox-bridge" jointly.
Cambridge is composed of a variety of institutions that include thirty-one constituent colleges and over more than 100 academic departments categorized into six schools. Cambridge University Press which is a department of the university  is one of the world's oldest publishing house and the 2nd largest university press in the whole world. The university also conducts eight cultural and scientific museums, which includes the Fitzwilliam Museum, and also a botanic garden. Cambridge's libraries holds a total of around  fifteen million books, 8 million of which are in Cambridge University Library itself, a legal deposit library.

These are educational charities, each moving forward with a particular mission and character, and we can say that it has evolved in response to many social pressures. They also remain flexible, functioning to the changing needs and wants of their members. But all are faithful to study and research across the range of disciplines and generations.It is governed by Fellows, that are mostly academics employed in the University who remain essential to the University's educational and research environment till today. They can offer you a home and other facilities that Universities usually provide . They also provide you experiences and opportunities that are unique to 
Cambridge.

FEES AT CAMBRIGDE

This is the fee categorized of all the teaching, supervision, student support and facilities that you will be receiving  and have access to from the University and your College. The value of the UCF is depended on your fee status.


The University Composition Fee is gathered by the College, along with the living costs accured by the college (rental of college accommodation, food brought from college)

Master of Advanced Study courses, thaty are equivalent of a 4th undergraduate year, are handled as undergraduate courses for fee purposes, and therefore international students are also charged with the undergraduate College fee that are not included in the fee table below.


The College will be making  clear to you how these payments are to be made and by which deadlines. Some colleges collect the fees for the whole year at the beginning of the course.
